Kevin Costner has been a major movie star since the 80s and has starred in some of the memorable films from that decade and the 90s. Films like Fields of Dreams, Bull Durhum, Dances With Wolves, JFK, and The Bodyguard made him a household name, and almost 40 years later, he is still going strong and continues to make bold projects.
In his personal life, Costner and Christine Baumgartner finalized this divorce in February of this year. Since then, there have been rumors about Costner dating singer-songwriter Jewel. However, in a recent interview, Costner shut down those speculations about his love life and does not want these baseless rumors to ruin their friendship.
Kevin Costner’s personal life took a big hit this year as he and his wife of 20 years Christine Bumagartmer finalized their divorce in February. He is now a single father to their 3 children and is hard at work with his passion project Horizon: An American Saga‘s future films. Since December of 2023, rumors began to link Costner with famed singer-songwriter Jewel after they were seen together at a charity event (via People).
The rumors continued this year, although Jewel did not confirm a romantic relationship with Costner while calling him “a great person” (via Elle). Costner was recently asked by Howard Stern about their rumored romance, to which the Yellowstone star stated that they are just friends, and have never gone out together as a couple.
The actor showed his disdain for all the baseless rumors about them and does not want them to ruin his special relationship with Jewel.
