NRL Casualty Ward: RTS, Kikau to return; Bostock blow for Phins
Jack Bostock suffered a concussion three minutes into the Dolphins’ Friday game against the Storm.

After a strong hit, the winger was judged to have shown category one symptoms while attempting a tackle on Will Warbrick.

Jojo Fifita, a winger for the Gold Coast, is out sick for their match against the Warriors, but his namesake David Fifita, who was sidelined last week with an ankle injury, should help the team.

While Reuben Garrick is sidelined for Round 16 due to a concussion, Taniela Paseka, a prop, will need surgery to stabilize a fractured thumb she sustained in Round 15. The Sea Eagles will be without Paseka for an extended period of time.

Jake Arthur, who was also at Manly, experienced a stress fracture in his left foot and had a successful surgery last week to stabilize it. He is anticipated to be out of commission for four months and will be kept in a boot for the foreseeable future.

Jesse McLean, a winger for the Panthers, was knocked unconscious during the Under 19 Origin match on Thursday at Leichhardt Oval after only two minutes of play.

After coming across in cover and catching Maroons winger Tyreece Tait’s hip, McLean—who has played three NRL games for the Panthers—was taken for a high-risk incident.

Bulldogs forward Viliame Kikau and Warriors center Roger Tuivasa-Sheck plan to return from injury in Round 16.

Kikau (finger) has been kept in the Bulldogs’ 19-man roster for their matchup with the Roosters, while Tuivasa-Sheck (hamstring) has been selected to start for the Warriors against the Titans on Saturday night.
After missing Round 15, rookie Lachlan Galvin (hand) of the Wests Tigers is also available again, and winger Dominic Young is back for the Roosters after recovering from a hamstring injury.

J’maine Hopgood, a forward for the Eels and Maroons, suffered a back injury that prevented him from playing in the club’s Round 15 match and caused him to be left out of Origin II. Meanwhile, teammate Kelma Tuilagi’s thumb injury played a part in his decision to not challenge a dangerous throw charge, earning him a maximum five-week ban.

Due to a failed HIA in the second half of his team’s Friday loss to the Cowboys, Raiders hooker Tom Starling will miss their Round 16 matchup against the Wests Tigers.

Back-rower Jacob Preston is nearing inclusion in the Bulldogs’ Round 16 squad as he recovers from a foot injury, and Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo said he has a good chance of playing in Round 17.
