Braylon Mullins earns scholarship offer during visit with Kentucky Basketball
Mullins has been lighting it up from 3-point land in the AAU season.
Another scholarship offer has gone out in the class of 2025.
On Monday, 4-star shooting guard Braylon Mullins announced an offer from the Kentucky Wildcats on Twitter.
Mullins is currently taking an unofficial visit to Lexington.
The 6-foot-4, 180-pound Mullins is currently a consensus top-50 prospect ranked as high as 24th overall in 2025 by 247 Sports. He holds additional offers from UConn, Alabama, North Carolina, Kansas, Indiana, and Tennessee.
Mullins, who plays for Greenfield-Central High School in Indiana, wasn’t a big-time high school recruit until he started gaining national attention with a big showing in this year’s AAU circuit.
“Braylon Mullins’ rise has been a product of increased exposure this spring and summer while playing for Indiana Elite on the 3SSB Circuit,” wrote 247 Sports recruiting guru Travis Branham. “They’re one of the best teams across all shoe circuits. Mullins has impressed this summer with his size, length, reliable skillset, and high game IQ. Mullins has particularly shined with his shot-making. He drilled 43.5% of his 108 attempts from 3, according to Synergy. However, he’s much more than a shooter. He can also handle and pass the ball while creating for himself and others. Mullins has a very high floor and will help any college team win a lot of games in the future.”
In a recent interview with The Dailey Hoosier, Mullins said he’s uncertain as to whether he’ll be part of the fall signing period or wait until the spring.
“I wanted to commit before senior year (high school season), but I’m 50/50 on that,” Mullins said. “I’ve just got to decide if I’m going to do it before or during the season. But it’s sometime soon, though.”
Here is a recap of the players Kentucky has issued new scholarship offers to in the class of 2025 under Pope:
- 5-star power forward Nate Ament
- 4-star center Chris Cenac
- 4-star power forward Niko Bundalo
- 4-star combo guard Acaden Lewis

Other 2025 recruits who were offered under John Calipari include 5-star forward AJ Dybantsa, 5-star point guard Jasper Johnson, 5-star center Malachi Moreno, and 5-star shooting guard Darryn Peterson. Kentucky continues to recruit all of them.
