A tribute concert and other events are planned to commemorate the late Bon Scott’s 78th birthday.
On July 8, the late frontman of AC/DC, Bon Scott, will be honored in New York City. He would have turned 78 years old.
A tribute concert honoring the late Bon Scott Estate will take place at Arlene’s Grocery on the Lower East Side on July 9, the day of the big event. While no performers have been revealed, it is anticipated that 16 singers will perform classic AC/DC songs accompanied by a backing band.
The sale of tickets has begun.
However, there are other ways to celebrate Bon’s 78th birthday besides that. Fans will also be able to obtain some brand-new and exclusive merchandise, such as two newly registered Bon Scott tartans from Dixxon Flannel Company, which will be utilized for their signature flannel shirts, and made-to-order kilts, vests, pants, and other items from Gordon Nicolson Kiltmakers.

From 1974 until his passing in 1980, Scott led AC/DC and was featured on the group’s first seven albums. Brian Johnson took his place and has been their frontman ever since.
