Taevion Kinsey inks a two-way contract with Jazz
SALT LAKE CITY: Taevion Kinsey, a former winger for the Salt Lake City Stars, is reportedly close to signing a two-way contract with the Utah Jazz.

Shams Charania of The Athletic broke the story on social media first.

“Sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium that guard Taevion Kinsey is joining the Utah Jazz on a two-way NBA contract,” Charania wrote. “Kinsey played for the Jazz’s Salt Lake City Stars affiliate in the G League and was part of a 10-day deal with the team late in the previous season.”

Taevion Kinsey To Sign A Two-Day Deal With azz
Last season, Kinsey played in 34 games for the Jazz G League affiliate, averaging 11.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 31 minutes.

With remarkable physical attributes, Kinsey, who stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, is shooting 59% from the field, 51% from three, and 79% from the free-throw line.

In August, Kinsey signed an exhibit-10 contract with the Jazz; however, the Stars signed him right away after it was waived.

The Marshall product played for the Jazz in the Salt Lake City and Las Vegas Summer leagues prior to signing the deal.

Kinsey spent five seasons averaging 17.1 points and 4.9 rebounds at Marshall before going undrafted in 2023.
