Breaking News: Black Sabbath Members Officially Announce the return of a great man after leaving for many years…

This Black Sabbath member wants one last show with band’s former drummer

Hopefully, this final hoorah will be agreed upon by others.

According to Stairwayto11, legendary heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne recently expressed his desire for Black Sabbath to perform “one last gig” with drummer Bill Ward, the band’s estranged partner.

Months after it was announced, the drummer backed out of the band’s 2012 reunion, citing a “unreasonable contract.”

Ward asserted that he had not received an offer of a contract that he deemed “signable.” According to Loudersound, this resulted in a falling out between him and the frontman, who at the time implied Ward wasn’t well enough to perform his part.

Osbourne asked Ward to get back together, but Ward hasn’t replied yet.

Tony Iommi, the guitarist for Sabbath, has shown interest in the notion of a possible reunion in an interview with Eddie Trunk on Sirius XM’s “Trunk Nation.”
It would be a pleasant thing to do in practice, but whether it takes place is another matter. However, we’ll see. Who knows, really?

While Iommi is open to the idea of a reunion, he pointed out that a tour wouldn’t be ideal given his advanced age, Osbourne stated earlier in May that he would “jump at the chance” to play one final show with Ward.

“At my age, I have to consider it realistically. “I am unable to embark on a two-year tour as we previously did,” he declared. “And because everything is so expensive, it takes a long time to put something together like the original Sabbath or this or that or the other.”

“But if that ever happens, it would be nice to do a one-off,” he said in closing.

Osbourne and Iommi both indicated interest in a potential Black Sabbath reunion to commemorate the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, but the concept hasn’t been discussed since the previous summer.
