Sad news: Western Bulldogs Coach announce unexpected announcement….

Port Adelaide Power will play the Western Bulldogs in round 17 of the Australian Football League at the Adelaide Oval. Both teams secured a win in their last weekend encounter ahead of this fixture. Which team will keep the run here?

Port Adelaide Power ended a run of three matches without a victory, pulling off a 60-62 win over the St Kilda Saints. However, in their prior encounters, the Port Adelaide Power defeats were against the Carlton Blues, GWS Giants, and Brisbane Lions. However, this team still has a spot in the relegation position as they sit 7th with 36 points from 15 matches.

Western Bulldogs made it two consecutive victories and third in their last five encounters with a win over the North Melbourne Kangaroos last weekend. However, the prior encounters to that win saw this side pick up wins over the Fremantle Dockers and the Collingwood Magpies. Yet, they were on the losing end against Brisbane Lions and the Sydney Swans in games that ended 71-114 and 88-102. In the league standings, the Melbourne Kangarooshave 32 points, positioning them 9th spot, 2 points behind playoff spots.

Despite their inconsistency, Port Power have always impressed me, and I can always expect them to be decent in this encounter. The Bulldogs have been amazing on the road, but I do not have faith in them in this fixture despite being the favorites. You can make a case, but I feel the Port Power are in a good position, having also won the majority of this fixture in the last encounter, and at home, a win for them is imminent.
