Longhurst leaves Reading to join the Whitecaps

After leaving Reading FC Women, Josie Longhurst, a member of the Wales side, joined Vancouver Whitecaps.

Longhurst, 22, was initially called up to the Wales squad in 2020 as an 18-year-old, but he has no senior caps.

Following the club’s withdrawal from the Championship, Reading will participate in English football’s fifth division the following season.

The Vancouver Whitecaps compete in League1 BC in Canada.
