Rahmanullah Gurbaz returns to Guyana Amazon Warriors ahead of CPL 2024

Several West Indies players have been retained as well, such as Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Romario Shepherd, and Keemo Paul.
Gurbaz’s inclusion is expected to fortify the Warriors’ squad as they aim to defend their title in the upcoming tournament.
Currently, the Warriors have signed 14 players and need to secure three more in the CPL 2024 draft scheduled for July.
Their last season saw them clinch their first CPL title by narrowly defeating Trinbago Knight Riders in a low-scoring finale in 2023.

The Warriors will kick off their campaign against the new CPL franchise, Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, on August 30 in North Sound.
This year’s CPL will run from August 29 to October 6, with Antigua hosting matches for the first time in a decade.
Other locations for the tournament include Barbados, Guyana, St Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Trinidad & Tobago. The final will be held at the National Stadium in Providence, Guyana.
Guyana Amazon Warriors squad list: Imran Tahir, Shimron Hetmyer, Saim Ayub, Shai Hope, Romario Shepherd, Azam Khan, Gudakesh Motie, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Kevin Sinclair, Dwaine Pretorius, Keemo Paul, Shamar Joseph, Kevlon Anderson, Junior Sinclair
