Blossoms announce ‘Covers Edition’ of new album ‘Gary’, including classics by Radiohead and Lady Gaga
Caroline Polachek, Neil Diamond, Bob Marley and more are also covered in the LP
Blossoms have announced a new ‘Covers Edtion’ of their forthcoming album ‘Gary‘ featuring classic hits by Radiohead, Lady Gaga and more.
The band’s fifth studio record is set for release on September 20, and was produced by their frequent collaborator James Skelly of The Coral, alongside Jungle’s Josh-Lloyd Watson. ‘Gary’ will also see Tom Odden and co. join forces with BRIT-nominated singer-songwriter CMAT, who has co-written two tracks, titled ‘I Like Your Look’ and ‘Why Do I Give You The Worst Of Me?’, on the album.
Today (July 10), Blossoms took to their official social media accounts to share that they will be releasing ‘Gary (Covers Edition)’ which will feature renditions of some of their favourite songs.
“‘Gary (Covers Edition)’ available to pre order now! If you ever needed Whitney, The Real Thing, Radiohead, Mario, Neil Diamond, Caroline Polachek, Gaga and Bob Marley in one place, you now have it. Go get them X,” read the caption of a tweet shared by the band which features a clip of them performing some covers.
The covers edition of the album is set for release on September 20 as well and will come in various formats such as vinyl and CD. You can pre-order it here.
