2026 Top247 DB Jorden Edmonds enjoys first visit to Florida

The Gators will host the four-star defender on campus once again this season

After extending an offer back in the spring, the Florida Gators hosted Marietta (GA) Sprayberry 2026 four-star defensive back Jorden Edmonds for the first time this past Saturday. He arrived later in the day on Saturday, so he didn’t get the full feel of the Grill in the Ville cookout while he was in Gainesville. The coaches did hang around after the event, and were able to show him around, and give him plenty of information and show him sights around campus.

“The housing and facilities were really nice, and they showed a lot of love from everyone while we were there. The coaches made me feel really comfortable and it was just overall good vibes. We just had normal conversations. They said they like my length and build and how I attack the ball.”

As he moves into the start of his junior season, the 6-foot-3, 172-pounder holds just under two-dozen offers to date. With coaches being able to contact the class of 2026 in the last month and a half, Edmonds has been fielding calls from coaches left and right. A handful of teams have started to start off on the right foot, Florida being one of them.
