Eagles prepare for Week 18 game vs. New York Giants

Catch up on everything that happened in the first half of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 18 bout with the New York Giants.

The Philadelphia Eagles traveled to New Jersey to take on the New York Giants in the final week of the regular season, with not much on the line for either team.

The only path to a higher seed in the playoffs for the Eagles lies in the hands of the Washington Commanders, who would have to beat the Dallas Cowboys in order for Philadelphia to clinch the NFC East with a win.

Still, there is a possibility for Philadelphia to win the NFC East if they can dispatch New York, but it certainly didn’t play like it in the first half. The visiting team only had one drive cross the 50-yard line, and that drive ended in a lost fumble. Meanwhile, the Giants were the ones that looked like the 11-5 team, getting out to a 24-0 lead at the half.

The first half of Week 18 saw multiple Eagles players suffer injuries including star wide receiver A.J. Brown, who went down clutching his knee after a fumble. He was able to walk off the field to the locker room. It is believed to not be an ACL injury, but he is still questionable to return.
