WNBA Fans Issue Caitlin Clark Demand to Angel Reese After Podcast Announcement

Even though Chicago Sky star Angel Reese’s rookie season in the WNBA has ended due to injury, she continues to attract a lot of attention, thanks in large part to her newly launched podcast”Unapologetically Angel.” The podcast already has a podcast uploaded for everyone to check out, and there should be more to come.Chicago Sky Send Six-Word Message to Angel Reese After Historic All-Star Performance | National Sports | starlocalmedia.com

On Tuesday, the podcast’s X (formerly Twitter) account asked its followers for suggestions about who should come on to the show in the future. As expected, fans came up with several names, including, of course, no other than Indiana Fever super rookie Caitlin Clark.

“Gotta get Caitlin on there,” said @GriffinRains89. You know it would blow up and be great!” “Jalen Brunson Josh Hart and Caitlin Clark,” suggested @MikeyCoinSnatch.

“I would love for Caitlin Clark to come on the show. Just to see if her fanbase would finally chill after they see there’s no hate there,” replied @choklet1. “I’m guessing no but still would live to see.” “I wanna see her and Caitlin chop it up,” posted @stamp_9. “Best way to put these tired narratives to bed. Not immediately but later on in the off season.” “Caitlin and Flau,” wrote @tierrajanelll. Without a doubt, Clark and Reese are two of the biggest names in women’s basketball today. They have played a big role in ushering in what is seemingly unprecedented interest in the WNBA. Many view Reese’s relationship with Clark as a rivalry, but that shouldn’t be too much of an obstacle for both players to appear together on the show if they truly want to make it happen. Reese, who was taken seventh overall by the Sky in the 2024 WNBA draft, averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds in 34 games in her first year as a pro.
