Inactives: Texans without RBs Joe Mixon, Dameon Pierce in Week 3
Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce are both out at Minnesota.
The Houston Texans released their inactives for the Week 3 road game at Minnesota, and they’ll be without Mixon, their starting running back, and his backup Pierce. The former was injured in the Week 2 win over the Bears, while the latter was inactive against Chicago. Neither made the trip to Minneapolis, and the team elevated running back J.J. Taylor from the practice squad yesterday.
Additionally, offensive lineman Jarrett Patterson, who started last Sunday at center, is inactive in Minneapolis.
