Tennessee Titans: Two Players Could Alternate at a Crucial Offensive Line Position for Week 4

The Tennessee Titans’ offensive line woes continue into the 2024 season. Their O-line has allowed 11 hits (6th-most), 31 pressures (7th-most), a 26.5% pressure percentage (7th-highest), and 15 sacks (2nd-most) through three games, per Pro Football Reference. On top of that, they rank 29th in pass block and 19th in run block win rate per ESPN but also have the 31st-best offensive line unit, according to PFF

Despite their early struggles, the unit has two bright spots on the left side: rookie left tackle JC Latham and second-year left guard Peter Skoronski. Center Lloyd Cushenberry is off to a slow start and could bounce back, and right guard Dillon Radunz is also having a solid start to the season. Unfortunately, their right tackle is dragging the team down.

Nicholas Petit-Frere has had a disastrous start to the 2024 season. The Titans benched him after allowing the fastest sack of the season to Kingsley Enagbare, clocked in at 2.66 seconds in the third quarter of Week 3. Petit-Frere has allowed 13 pressures (most), nine hurries (T-most), one hit, three sacks (T-3rd most), a 47.4 pass block (8th-worst), and a 52.4 PFF grade (11th-worst among tackles who have played at least 20% of offensive snaps h/t PFF) through three games.

Head coach Brian Callahan told the media on Monday that this week’s practice will determine who starts at right tackle in their Week 4 matchup against the Miami Dolphins on Monday night.
