Following a 31–6 season that concluded with an Elite Eight appearance, the team is experiencing both notable departures and strategic additions through the NCAA transfer portal.

Departures:

1. Angel Reese: A pivotal forward for LSU, Reese declared for the 2024 WNBA Draft and was selected 7th overall by the Chicago Sky.
2. Hailey Van Lith: After transferring to LSU for the 2023–24 season, Van Lith entered the transfer portal again in April 2024 and subsequently joined TCU.
3. Last-Tear Poa: The senior guard entered the transfer portal after contributing 2.0 points and 1.9 assists per game over 30 appearances.
4. Sa’Myah Smith: A sophomore center, Smith transferred to Virginia after averaging 6.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
5. Aalyah Del Rosario: The sophomore center entered the transfer portal after averaging 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.
6. Jersey Wolfenbarger: After one season with LSU, the 6-foot-5 guard-forward entered the transfer portal, marking her third collegiate team following a stint at Arkansas.

1. Kate Koval: A transfer from Notre Dame, Koval is a 6-foot-5 forward known for her defensive prowess, leading her former team with 55 blocks in the previous season.
