Nottingham Forest ready to return with €12m improved bid to sign Cameroon international
Nottingham Forest are keen on Hellas Verona’s Jackson Tchatchoua and have already made moves to sign him this summer.
On July 10th, we covered claims from Italy that Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are planning to table a €10m bid for the right-back soon.
Nottingham Forest are said to have tabled €10m bid and it hasn’t been entertained by the Serie A club. That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, and they add the Reds are ready to offer €12m for the fullback.
Nottingham Forest aren’t the only club as Inter Milan, Napoli and AC Milan are also in the mix.
The Serie A winners and Inter are monitoring his situation, without making any advances so far.
Milan have become the latest club to join the race to sign the Cameroon international as they are facing difficulties in their pursuits of UD Almería’s Marc Pubill and RC Strasbourg’s Guela Doué. They may step up in the next few hours to sign Tchatchoua.
Nottingham Forest could get ahead of Massimiliano Allegri’s side by tabling an improved proposal soon.
Hellas Verona haven’t received a convincing offer so far, without TMW specifying the figure needed to convince them.
Fabrizio Romano now delivers update on Nottingham Forest interest in Dan Ndoye
Nottingham Forest might currently be in Portugal, stepping up their fitness preparations, but behind the scenes, the work to sign new players doesn’t stop.
Forest have sold Anthony Elanga to Newcastle and as a result, new wingers are absolutely the order of the day, with Ramon Sosa also moving on from last season’s squad.
Morgan Gibbs-White is also being linked with Tottenham this summer and things might get worse from a transfer point of view before they get better.
Danilo has joined Botafogo and right now, the Forest squad does feel considerably weaker than it was last season when the campaign drew to a close.

Fabrizio Romano delivers update on Dan Ndoye move to Nottingham Forest
According to the transfer guru, Romano, Forest are going to be insisting on signing Ndoye this summer, with Napoli also looking at the player.
The club’s first bid of around £27 million has been rejected, but it’s not thought that Forest will be deterred with another offer set to come from the Reds.
Ndoye has already said yes to the proposal on the table when it comes to personal terms from Forest and if a fee can be agreed, this one should go through pretty quickly.
Bologna would like to keep Ndoye beyond the summer transfer window but with Forest holding a strong interest, they might just be forced into a sale.
Forest need wingers quickly
With Elanga and Sosa leaving and Jota Silva continuing to be linked with a move away from the City Ground, the need for wingers is pretty desperate.
Given how Nuno Espirito Santo likes his teams to play on the counter-attack, it’s imperative that a player like Elanga can be added to the ranks.
Although Ndoye isn’t as quick as Elanga, he does possess plenty of flair and bagged nine goals and claimed six assists during the 2024/25 campaign.
Hopefully, Forest’s next offer can prove more successful and the Reds can get a deal for Ndoye over the line before other clubs start to show an interest.
Nottingham Forest pushing hard to sign ‘outstanding’ star but he might cost £50m
Nottingham Forest are desperate to bring some new players to the football club before the season gets underway in around four weeks.
Anthony Elanga has been sold to Newcastle and as a result, the squad currently looks a lot weaker than it did when the season finished back in May.
Ramon Sosa, Danilo and Andrew Omobamidele have all left the ranks this summer and it would appear as though Forest are keen to get rid of some deadwood.
Morgan Gibbs-White is linked with Tottenham and with that in mind, it’s largely been doom and gloom in the transfer window so far from a Forest perspective.
Dan Ndoye has been linked with Forest this weekend, however, and hopefully, the next week or two can see some new faces come into the club.

Nottingham Forest pushing hard for Jacob Ramsey
It was claimed last week that Forest wanted Ramsey from Aston Villa and now it would appear as though the Reds are pushing hard to sign him.
According to journalist Sebastien Vidal, the Reds are firmly at the front of the race to sign the versatile player and it’s believed a fee of £50 million might be needed.
It’s worth mentioning that the source isn’t exactly one of the big transfer gurus and perhaps the fee feels inflated given that it was previously claimed that Villa would likely command around £40 million.
