Good news:Graham announce unexpected announcement…

Late Late lines up frightful night of fun while Graham Norton turns to Irish acting A-listers

Get set for a little Halloween fun on the Late Late Show this weekend which has once again been out star powered by the Graham Norton Show’s line-up.

That’s not to say host Patrick Kielty isn’t going to be joined by some very well-known faces in the RTÉ

studio on Friday, the line-up just isn’t as starry.

The Late Late Show’s scarefest will see Victoria Smurfit sit down to chat with Patrick about the success of her new Disney+ show Rivals, which is an adaptation of the famed namesake novel by Dame Jilly Cooper.

Victoria stars as Maud O’Hara, married to Aidan Turner’s Declan O’Hara, in the ‘bonkfest’ which has been met with critical acclaim. The Irish actress will share how she manifested the role from a young age and those steamy scenes.

Comedian and actor Ardal O’Hanlon will also be in studio to discuss going back out on the road next year with his new show, meeting the Pope and reflecting on his career as we approach the 30-year anniversary of Father Ted.

Eileen Walsh will be on the show to talk about her role in Small Things Like These, adapted from Claire Keegan’s namesake novel, which also stars Cillian Murphy.

Patrick will also be joined in studio by former presenter of The Great British Bake Off Matt Lucas, who will reflect on his comedy career, his debut musical novel The Boy Who Slept Through Christmas and his cameo role in the hotly anticipated Gladiator II- who knew?

In comparison, Graham Norton will have the big kahuna of Gladiator II himself, Paul Mescal, in the BBC studio with him.
