Future Buffs tight end Corbin Laisure expanding his game as a senior in east Tennessee
Colorado fell in love with what they saw out of tight end Corbin Laisure in primarily a 10-personnel offensive scheme as a junior at Bluff City (Tenn.) Sullivan East.
Now at Science Hill, 18 miles southwest of Sullivan East, Laisure is playing in primarily an 11-and-12 personnel offensive scheme. He has helped the Hilltoppers to a 7-1-1 start, including a 4-0 mark in 6A Region 1 play.
Eight FBS teams remain undefeated entering the first weekend of November. All of them reside inside the latest AP Top 25.
Beyond an undefeated record and a ranking number beside their names, what else do these eight teams share? All of them sit inside the top 32 nationally in yards per pass attempt allowed
Rhett Armstrong remains verbally committed to Baylor. However, the 2025 kicker prospect from Monument (Colo.) Palmer Ridge has taken two unofficial visits to Boulder in the past month since receiving an offer from the Buffaloes. He has been impressed with what Deion Sanders and Co. have to offer.
“I went to CU on a Sunday during their (first) bye week and was able to attend their game against Cincinnati last Saturday,” Armstrong said. “The coaching staff there is really awesome. I like a lot of them, for sure, and I think Coach Prime is building an amazing program.
“Being a local kid, remembering CU when you could sit just about anywhere in the stadium you wanted to and now it is standing room only, it is pretty awesome to see that transformation of the program. I enjoyed getting to check it out, see what it is all about. The discipline factor in the program is super awesome to see and pretty attractive for a recruit.”
