Bulldogs Help Kick Off Mayoral Toy Drive
The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have teamed up with Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Bilal El-Hayek to bring smiles to disadvantaged kids this Christmas.
Mayor El-Hayek was joined by Bulldogs players at Belmore Sports Ground to kick off this year’s Mayoral Toy Drive with a generous donation of footballs and stuffed toys.
The Mayoral Christmas Toy Donation Drive aims to spread Christmas cheer to children and families doing it tough, by collecting donations for local charities and not-for-profit organisations.
The 2024 Mayoral Christmas Toy Donation Drive is accepting donations of new and unwrapped children’s toys and items at Bankstown and Campsie Customer Service Centres and Bankstown and Campsie Library and Knowledge Centres until Wednesday 11 December.
Items that will be accepted include:
- Arts and craft supplies
- Beach towels, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen
- Toys, books and stationery
- Gift cards and vouchers

Donations can be dropped off at these locations until Wednesday 11 December 2024, Monday to Sunday during business hours.
- Council Customer Service Centres at Bankstown and Campsie (Monday-Friday only)
- Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre
- Campsie Library and Knowledge Centre
Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton urged Members and supporters in the community to get behind the initiative.
“This is a wonderful initiative, and we’re proud to support Mayor Bilal El-Hayek and the Canterbury-Bankstown Council in the incredible work they do for our community,” Mr Warburton said.
