For instance, the East Baton Rouge Metro Council recently approved over $6 million in funding for six affordable housing projects, aiming to provide 342 new units across various neighborhoods.  Additionally, the East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority secured a $2.5 million grant to revitalize three North Baton Rouge neighborhoods, including the development of over 430 homes in the Cypress at Ardendale community.
