He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the same institution between 1987 and 1990, further honing his expertise in the field. In 1991, Dr. Bankston pursued a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery and Sports Medicine at the Center for Hip and Knee Surgery in Mooresville, Indiana, solidifying his specialization in sports-related injuries.
