Player travels for Norwich City medical – Rejects another club, choose to join Canaries

At the weekend, we covered claims from Denmark that Norwich City are making advances to sign Brøndby IF’s Mathias Kvistgaarden this summer.

Tipsbladet also state Norwich City and the Danish club have found an agreement for the 23-year-old’s transfer.

Kvistgaarden received an offer from a ‘French giant’, but the report hasn’t provided their details. It won’t matter because the Denmar international wasn’t keen and has chosen to join the Canaries.

  • He has to carry out medical tests and sign the contract to complete his move to Norwich City. Therefore, the report states the attacker won’t be joining the Danish club’s training camp in Austria. Instead, he will travel to England to carry out transfer formalities.

According to Tipsbladet, Kvistgaarden travelled to England on Sunday evening to undergo medical tests with Norwich City. They should make his transfer official soon.

Tavolieri and Tipsbladet make no mention of the fee Brøndby will collect from his sale to Norwich City.
