Nottingham Forest table offer for young defender – May need to increase by €5m
There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Nottingham Forest have made their move for Trabzonspor defender Arseniy Batagov.
The Ukrainian has impressed for the Super Lig side since his arrival last summer, which has also brought him to the attention of Nottingham Forest.
Sporx report on the latest developments regarding Forest’s interest in the young defender and they say the Premier League side have come with an offer.
It’s claimed a bid of €12m has been made, but has already been rejected by the
Trabzonspor are reportedly looking for bids in the region of €17m, and it’s not reported if the English side will match this.
Lazio and Brighton & Hove Albion have also been linked with Batagov in recent weeks, with reports the Italian side have also made an offer for him. Lazio were said to have offered €10m, but again this wasn’t enough to convince the Super Lig giants.
The 23-year-old defender, who is contracted to Trabzonspor until 2029, made 18 league appearances last season, scoring one goal.
He’s yet to represent his national side, but has been capped at youth level by Ukraine.
Nottingham Forest ‘make proposal’ for £34m-rated midfielder who needs convincing
Ardon Jashari is the subject of interest from Forest and West Ham, according to reports, but the Swiss international’s heart is apparently set on a switch to AC Milan
Nottingham Forest have been rejected by Swiss international midfielder Ardon Jashari as he holds out for a move to AC Milan, according to reports.
First linked back in March, Forest and Premier League rivals West Ham are said to have made proposals for the 22-year-old Club Brugge star this week.
However, they’ve reportedly been dismissed by the player himself, who has his heart set on Serie A.

Jashari has only been with Club Brugge for a season, but he made a big impact in Belgium.
Operating at the base of the midfield, Jashari was named player of the season and young player of the season in the Belgian top flight as Club Brugge finished second in the league and won the Belgian Cup.
He also played all but one match in the club’s run to the knockout stages of the Champions League, where they were eliminated in the last 16 by Aston Villa.

Jashari only joined from boyhood club Luzern last summer for around £5m, but it’s now reported that Club Brugge are holding out for £34m.
In any case, it doesn’t seem like it will be Forest that are paying that fee, with Jashari so far uninterested in a move to the City Ground.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romani said: “There are two Premier League clubs who have made offers to the player (Jashari) this week. One is West Ham and the other is Nottingham Forest.
“Both teams have presented the player with significant financial offers, with the intention of approaching Brugge and paying whatever is required in terms of the transfer fee to secure the deal.

“But the player says no. Right now, he has all these options, but he said no to West Ham and did the same with Forest. He wants to wear the AC Milan shirt.”
