Arsenal have scheduled another round of talks over the signing of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, according to Florian Plettenberg. The Sky Sports Deutschland reporter says that, while there is no full agreement yet for a deal to sign the 22-year-old, the Gunners remain very positive that they can land a player that manager Mikel Arteta is keen on. Slovenia international Sesko scored 21 goals for Leipzig last season, including four in eight UEFA Champions League appearances. The Bundesliga club are yet to receive an official bid for the star forward, but it could take a fee of up to €100 million to let him go.

– Manchester United are eyeing a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, TEAMtalk reports. The club is said to be exploring keeper options after André Onana’s recent struggles between the sticks. According to TeamTalk, Chelsea are also keeping tabs on Ter Stegen, who recently returned to first-team action at Barça following a long-term injury layoff. Ter Stegen has been at the Spanish club since 2014, where he has made 291 LaLiga appearances.

– Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola is Bayern Munich’s top winger target this summer, reports Sky Germany. While a move for the 22-year-old is expected to be “difficult to realize”, the Bundesliga champions are actively exploring a potential deal. Should Barcola be impossible to prize away from PSG, Athletic Club’s Nico Williams is viewed as the next best alternative by the Bayern hierarchy. Kaoru Mitoma, Rafael Leão and Cody Gakpo have also been looked at by Bayern’s director of sport Max Eberl, who is keen to bolster the side’s attacking options out wide.

– AC Milan and Chelsea have reestablished direct contact over the proposed transfer of Mike Maignan, Fabrizio Romano reports. The French goalkeeper is keen on a move to West London, having already pushed for the deal to happen. However, as per Romano, it’s now up to the two clubs to agree a fee for Maignan, who has been at AC Milan since 2021. Chelsea are expected to lose long-time stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer, who has been heavily linked with a £5m move to Arsenal.

– Manchester United have made an initial approach to sign Sporting CP forward Viktor Gyökeres, Sky Sports News has reported. The 27-year-old could be available this summer for around £58m thanks to a “gentleman’s agreement” he struck with Sporting. United boss Ruben Amorim is a big fan of Gyökeres, having previously worked with him at the Portuguese club. In recent days, the Swedish goalscorer reportedly turned down a move to Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal — potentially opening the door for other suitors to make their move.

DONE DEAL: Vrabel’s Agreement reached for Sensational game Charger who plays like Cole Palmer –  wage details agreed Leipzig exit…

Looks like Fortaleza are moving closer to signing West Ham defender Luizão, with new developments reinforcing earlier reports about the Brazilian club’s interest.

According to Expresso Tricolor, an agreement is already in place between the clubs for a one-year loan with a purchase option. This update follows what we previously reported, with talks now at an advanced stage and only a few details left to finalise.

The final hurdle appears to be the player’s wages. Fortaleza want to split Luizão’s salary with West Ham, but the Premier League side have yet to accept that condition and efforts are therefore ongoing. Still, the overall deal is progressing, and the defender has expressed a clear desire to return to Brazilian football.

Luizão, now 23 years old, joined the Hammers from São Paulo in late 2022. He failed to establish himself in the first team and was sent on loan to Polish side Pogoń Szczecin, where he played regularly last season.

Now he really needs to find somewhere he can rebuild a once promising career.
