Gurbaz, returning to the Warriors after his stint in 2022, previously scored 157 runs, including two half-centuries.
Experienced South African spinner Imran Tahir, who captained the Warriors to their first title last season, has been retained by the franchise.
The Warriors have also retained overseas talents, including Pakistan’s batting duo Saim Ayub and Azam Khan, as well as South African all-rounder Dwaine Pretorius.
Several West Indies players have been retained as well, such as Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Romario Shepherd, and Keemo Paul.
Gurbaz’s inclusion is expected to fortify the Warriors’ squad as they aim to defend their title in the upcoming tournament.
Currently, the Warriors have signed 14 players and need to secure three more in the CPL 2024 draft scheduled for July.
Their last season saw them clinch their first CPL title by narrowly defeating Trinbago Knight Riders in a low-scoring finale in 2023.
