Knoxville AAU girls basketball team earns World Championship

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Congratulations are in order for a group of young ladies from Knoxville.

The Tennessee Disciples are 48-0 as a team, ranked #1 in the nation and now, AAU World Champions.

Led by Grace Christian Academy coaches Neek and Ang Wright, the basketball team will finish its season at the Junior Olympics on July 25, in North Carolina.
