A stoppage-time equaliser to BK Häcken’s Alice Bergström meant that third-place Kristianstads DFF and second-place Häcken played out a 2-2 draw over the weekend. Häcken scored first before goals from Tabby Tindell and Emmi Alanen gave Kristianstads the lead. They held on for most of the second half before Bergström made sure that her side would not leave empty-handed.
Clare Polkinghorne started for Kristianstads and played the full match, while Amy Sayer remains unavailable for the side through injury. Aivi Luik was unavailable for Häcken.
San Diego Wave broke Orlando Pride’s record-winning streak, coming from behind to draw 1-1 on Saturday. Orlando’s Julie Doyle scored in the first half before a second-half equaliser for Makenzy Doniak earned the Wave a point.
