Footy fans are up in arms over shocking detail about Queensland Origin star Felise Kaufusi

When Felise Kaufusi runs out for Queensland on Wednesday night in the State of Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium, not all the focus will be on his football.

The Maroons enforcer, 32, is currently sporting one of the worst haircuts ever seen in world sport – and bemused footy supporters on social media haven’t been afraid to let him know.

‘I’m sorry but what the **** is up with Felise Kaufusi’s hair,’ one posted on X after Kaufusi first showed off his new ‘hat’ in May.

Another wrote: ‘Is Felise Kaufusi going for the Mr Burns [from The Simpsons] hair cut?

A third weighed in with: ‘What the hell is going on with FELISE KAUFUSI and his hair…. Surely you just shave it all.’

Media identity Cooper Johns has coined a nickname for Kaufusi – he labels the haircut a ‘b-ullet’ – as in a bald mullet.

Kaufusi himself finds all the attention surrounding his receding hairline amusing.

In a recent post game interview, the Dolphins backrower joked he ‘will be off to Turkey in the off-season for a family holiday’ and it was all about ‘business in the front and party in the back.’
