Deal Confirm: Tottenham Hotspur just confirm five-year contract of a star player just now…

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to offer a new five-year contract to young talent Mikey Moore, according to club insider John Wenham.

Moore, who turns 18 next year, is expected to receive this new deal as soon as he reaches the milestone.

Mikey Moore, regarded as one of the top talents in the country and possibly the best at the U17 level, has already made a significant impact at Spurs.

Last season, he was a standout performer in the U18 Premier League, making 22 goal contributions in 12 games (14 goals and 8 assists).

Having joined Tottenham as a U9 player, Moore has rapidly advanced through the ranks, playing key roles in the U17 and U18 teams.

His contributions were instrumental in securing league titles for Tottenham’s youth sides during the 2022-23 season.

Under the guidance of manager Ange Postecoglou, Moore has been involved with the first team and had a notable pre-season, scoring six goals and assisting two.

Wenham believes that the club is already preparing to offer him a new five-year contract upon his 18th birthday, acknowledging his potential and importance to the club’s future.

Wenham told Tottenham News:

“They will have a brand-new contract offer ready, without question.”

“I imagine that as soon as he turns 18, they will instantly put a five-year contract on the table. They know he is the country’s best 17-year-old.”

“I can see him making a serious impact at first-team level this season, especially in the UEFA Europa League. He is the sort of player that I imagine once he gets his chance, it will be very difficult to take him out of the limelight.”

“Fans, pundits and fellow players will all realise how incredible he is, and that he needs to be involved. Therefore, it would be hard to drop him back in with the Under-21s.”

“When he does get the chance to play, he will establish himself. It is just a matter of when, not if.”

Wenham predicts that Moore will make a serious impact at the first-team level this season, particularly in the UEFA Europa League.

His talent is expected to become increasingly recognised, making it difficult to drop him back to the Under-21s once he gets his chance

Securing Moore on a long-term deal would be a significant move for Tottenham, reflecting their commitment to nurturing their brightest young stars and ensuring their future success.
