Sad News: Dallas Cowboys Chauncey Golston dies with 3 players on their way coming back from training…

Three Dallas Cowboys players who will surprise in the upcoming NFL season

The Dallas Cowboys stars are well known. With the top-tier talent on the roster expected to carry the bulk of the load in 2024, a full-team approach will be necessary if they are going to be considered a real threat this season.

While there are different expectations for players across the roster, here are three players who have a chance to be better than expected and perhaps have a bigger impact than some originally thought this NFL season.

When it comes to versatility and ability to be a positive player on the roster, not many offer more upside than defensive back Israel Mukuamu. The now veteran secondary player has played all over the defense and has the opportunity to be utilized perhaps the way he should have been from the beginning.

He clearly has a unique skill set that Dallas should take advantage of. From his long, athletic frame to his ability to play safety, nickel corner and boundary corner, there isn’t much he can’t do in a secondary.

With the absence of DaRon Bland, we may have the opportunity to see Izzy play outside corner more than we initially thought. With that being his most natural position, where he played in college, it could be good for the Cowboys and their depth.

When you think of Dallas pass rushers, the first name that comes to mind probably isn’t Chauncey Golston. However, the former EDGE defensive tackle is now once again being called upon to line up wide.

Thank you for watching

With Sam Williams out for the rest of the season, the Cowboys have been struggling to find depth at pass rusher, and while they added pieces to the mix to help, one of the main keys was on the roster all along in Golston.

It would not be surprising if he is able to show production in both the pass rush and ground game, as Golston is a big, physical player who has shown quality skill in limited action.
