Bruce Springsteen Reveals ‘Road Diary’ Tour Documentary Heading to Streaming in October
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will take fans behind-the-scenes of their recent tour in the upcoming documentary Road Diary, arriving on Hulu and Disney+ this fall.
“Our new film Road Diary will take you on a journey through behind-the-scenes and rehearsals, to shows that we performed all around the world this year,” Springsteen said in a teaser for the film. “You’ll get to experience a little bit of the fun and magic that we get to experience every night.”
The Thom Zimny-directed film will premiere this weekend at the Toronto International Film Festival — where it’s one of our most anticipated screenings — before hitting the streaming services on October 25.
“Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band offer the most in-depth look ever at the creation of their legendary live performances – sharing fly-on-the-wall footage of band rehearsals and special moments backstage – as well as hearing directly from Springsteen on the topic,” Hulu added of Road Diary in a synopsis.
“Fans get the chance to experience professionally shot footage from the 2023-2024 tour for the first time ever – while following the band through their one-of-a-kind preparation process, and onto performances for tens-of-thousands across continents.”
After a few weeks off, Springsteen and the E Street Band’s world tour will resume this weekend with a gig at Washington, D.C.’s National Park, followed a week later with a show at Baltimore’s Camden Field and then a headlining slot at Asbury Park, New Jersey’s Sea.Hear.Now Festival. The band will then kick off a Canadian tour in Montreal on Halloween that’s slated to run through November 22.
