NRL injury list 2024: Your club’s medical news, casualty ward, player return dates
The business end of the NRL season has officially arrived with just eight teams remaining in the competition.
A host of injuries and suspensions rocked the league in the last rounds of the regular season with Sam Walker and Brandon Smith joining Nathan Cleary and Tom Trbojevic in the casualty ward.
However, Cleary and Trbojevic are set to now return for the finals as clubs begin the battle to reach the grand final in October.

Broncos injury news:
Reece Walsh pushed through the pain barrier in Round 23 with scans later revealing he suffered a metacarpal fracture. The fullback was included in the extended squad for Round 27 but did not play.
Payne Haas made an early return from a foot issue in Round 26 but with the club’s finals hopes all over, the forward has been sent for surgery which is expected to sideline him for around three months.
Brendan Piakura suffered a syndesmosis injury during the loss to the Dolphins in Round 26, while Kotoni Staggs suffered a quad injury. The duo won’t play again for the Broncos this year.
Jack Gosiewski suffered a broken arm just a few minutes into his side’s game against the Warriors in Round 17.
Jock Madden suffered a torn hamstring against the Panthers in Round 18 and did not feature again.
Xavier Willison copped a one-game ban for a high tackle in Round 26 and will miss his side’s last game of the season.
Ezra Mam suffered a syndesmosis injury in the first half of Brisbane’s match against the Titans in Round 22 and will miss the remainder of the season.
