SAD News: John Force involved in fiery crash as engine explodes during race and his fighting for his llife……

NHRA legend John Force gets caught in a fiery crash during a race when his engine blows up.
John Force, 75, a legendary member of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) and 16-time champion, was involved in a horrifying incident on Sunday at a drag race in Virginia.

Force’s engine burst while he was driving his Funny Car down the track, just like he had thousands of times before, sending him veering across the centerline and into the wall. His car went back over the line and struck the guard wall once more.

The NHRA put out a statement on the incident “During the first round of Funny Car eliminations at the PlayNHRA Virginia Nationals on Sunday at Virginia Motorsports Park, John Force’s Funny Car suffered an engine explosion at the finish line and then crossed the centerline, striking both guard walls before coming to a stop,” the organization said. “Force was alert and was examined onsite by the NHRA Medical Team before being transported to a local medical facility for further evaluation.”
