Willie Nelson Postpones Further Performances Due to Persistent Health Concern
The legendary figure in country music needs a little more time after adhering to medical advice.
Due to an unidentified health issue, Willie Nelson was forced to cancel additional shows on the Outlaw Music Festival Tour in order to be safe. Nelson, who was supposed to perform on Thursday in Virginia Beach, Virginia, announced the cancellation on social media, according to USA Today.
“There will be no Willie Nelson performance at the Virginia Beach show tonight. We anticipate Willie joining the tour again soon,” the statement says. “As planned, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, and Celisse will perform. Additionally, Willie’s hits and other songs will be performed by Lukas Nelson and Family during their own set, which will also feature a few special guests.”
Following several cancellations earlier in June, this most recent one occurred. He had scheduled appearances in Raleigh, Charlotte, and Georgia but canceled.
