SAD NEWS : OKLAHOMA SOONERS TALENTED PLAYER CAREER ENDING INJURY

Oklahoma WR Andrel Anthony will have season-ending knee surgery.

For the rest of the season, the No. 5 Oklahoma Sooners will be without one of their finest offensive players.

According to ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg, Oklahoma head coach Brett Venables told reporters that wide receiver Andrel Anthony will miss the rest of the 2023 season due to a knee injury that will require surgery.

Anthony leads Oklahoma with 429 receiving yards, 27 catches, and a score. He posted on social media about the injury:

Anthony suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Oklahoma’s 34-30 win over No. 3 Texas on Saturday. He had five catches for 42 yards before his exit.
