WOW—What an HONOR! I was beyond thrilled to be recognized during the 50th Anniversary of University of Oklahoma Softball! Stepping back onto that field, surrounded by legendary alumni and the electric Sooner energy, was a moment I’ll cherish forever. Reconnecting with my fellow teammates after 40 years—what an absolute GIFT. The laughs, the memories, the love… it was like no time had passed. And then—Coach Patty Gasso herself came over and said, “I’ve heard about you…” I was like… OH MY GOSH! I couldn’t help but laugh and say, “Yep, I was definitely a bit of a troublemaker!” (Still shining… just with a little more sparkle and wisdom now!) My heart is so full. Thank you, OU Softball, for an unforgettable celebration of legacy, sisterhood, and the game that shaped us. Once a Sooner, ALWAYS a Sooner!
