Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez is attracting interest from Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest.

Davinson Sanchez could end up landing a Premier League move with Nottingham Forest now keen on the Tottenham Hotspur defender.

That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Forest like Sanchez and may look to bring him to the City Ground.

Tottenham had actually accepted a £12.9million bid from Spartak Moscow for Sanchez.

However, the Colombian defender wasn’t keen on making the move to Russia and is still a Tottenham player.

Galatasaray have been interested with Sanchez seemingly fancying making that move.

Forest are now lurking though and could offer Sanchez the chance to continue his Premier League career.

That should appeal more than heading to Russia, but we couldn’t blame Sanchez for fancying a completely fresh start.

Davinson Sanchez needs to leave Tottenham Hotspur

Sanchez was an exciting signing for Tottenham back in the summer of 2017.

Spurs paid around £42million to sign Sanchez from Ajax after seeing him excel in the Netherlands.

Sanchez initially made a big impact for Spurs and was a fine addition alongside the more experienced Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.

The 27-year-old appears to have lost confidence in recent times though and started just eight Premier League games last season.

Sanchez was also the subject of mocking and booing from his own fans during a game against Bournemouth in April.

Sanchez simply must move on in order to get his career back on track this summer and leaving England completely may well appeal.

Forest are keen though and if Sanchez fancies sticking around to prove Tottenham wrong, Steve Cooper’s men may well become favourites for his signature.
