Leicester City vs. Hull City team news: Yunus Akgun makes his debut
Leicester City will line up at the King Power Stadium against Hull City in the Championship, hoping for their eighth consecutive win in all competitions under Enzo Maresca.

Yunus Akgun has been handed his first Leicester City start as Enzo Maresca makes just one change for the Championship clash with Hull City.

Yunus, a loan signing from Galatasaray last weekend, made his debut in the midweek cup win over Tranmere and now comes into the starting 11 for his first game at the King Power Stadium.

He replaces Stephy Mavididi in the only change from the line-up that began the win at Rotherham in City’s last Championship outing. That is likely to see Kasey McAteer, who scored his first two City goals at the New York Stadium, switch over to the left flank.

Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, who were both linked with moves before the deadline, are still in the starting lineup, ahead of Cesare Casadei and Jamie Vardy.

Mads Hermansen is in goal as predicted, and Ricardo Pereira, Wout Faes, Jannik Vestergaard, and Callum Doyle form City’s back four. City is hoping for their seventh straight win in all competitions and sixth in the Championship, a result that would maintain them atop the standings.

Abdul Fatawu is included on the bench, while Tom Cannon is not. There is only one substitute goalie for the first time in a few weeks.

Hermansen (4-3-3): Ricardo, Faes, Vestergaard, Doyle; Winks, Ndidi, Dewsbury-Hall; Yunus, Iheanacho, McAteer. Stolarczyk, Justin, Nelson, Choudhury, Casadei, Mavididi, Marcal, Fatawu, Vardy are the substitutes.
