Veteran running back hints about joining the Browns

Kenyan Drake was drafted in the third round in 2016.

With the NFL trade deadline approaching on Tuesday afternoon, rosters across the league could see substantial changes. Trade rumors will undoubtedly circulate throughout the day, but that does not guarantee that many transactions will take place.

Smaller movements could be expected for the Cleveland Browns due to a paucity of draft picks in the first four rounds (just two) of the 2024 NFL draft and a lack of salary cap room next season (this year’s cap is required as a rollover next year).

We’ll keep you up to date on all NFL trade deadline rumors.

RB Kenyan Drake is another name to keep an eye on for the Browns. The veteran running back worked out with the team last week and shared the following on social media on Tuesday morning:

Drake was drafted by the Miami Dolphins and played for them for three and a half seasons. He spent a season and a half with the Arizona Cardinals before joining the Baltimore Ravens for two games this season.

The Alabama Crimson Tide running back has over 3,500 yards and a 4.5 yard per carry average in his career. He also has 218 receptions for nearly 1,500 yards.

Drake has 41 touchdowns in eight seasons.

We’ll keep you posted if Cleveland signs Drake to one of their rosters.
