Breaking: Ohio State Loses Out On A Major Transfer Offensive Upgrade That Chose Another Elite Big Ten School Instead

Ohio State has one of the best rosters in college football, so adding players to it right now would be like adding a cherry to a perfect milkshake. The Buckeyes did have a chance to land an excellent offensive player, but he decided to head to another Big Ten School.

The Big Ten will look a lot different in 2024 when Oregon, Washington, UCLA, and USC join it. Those four teams have already made a name for themselves in the college football world in recent years. One of the teams that other Big Ten Schools will have to watch out for is USC, which has a loaded roster and just added a great player to it on Tuesday.

Last week, UCLA wide receiver Kyle Ford entered the portal. There were rumors that he could come to Ohio State to reunite with his former head coach, Chip Kelly, the new offensive coordinator for the Buckeyes. Still, he decided to stay in the Los Angeles area and head to USC, where he started his college career before transferring to UCLA.

Even though the Buckeyes didn’t land Ford, they are going to be just fine at the receiver position since they have one of the best in the country in Emeka Egbuka, a great true freshman in Jeremiah Smith, and Carnell Tate, along with Brandon Inniss, who was seen in a walking boot at the spring game, so hopefully, he will be ready for the season.
