Bennett’s Dolphins’ twofold advantage in re-signing rising star NRL Transfer Center and luring Cowboy
The Cowboys’ Kulikefu Finefeuiaki, a talented player, has been signed by the Dolphins again, and he will join the team prior to the 2025 campaign.

After a scorching start to the season, Plath signed a contract that will last until the end of 2027, earning a significant reward and locking up the team’s first pick.

Dolphins CEO Terry Reader said in a statement, “Max is the perfect example of the saying that hard work is just as or even more important than talent.”

He is undoubtedly a gifted football player, but his preparation for this season and the previous one, coupled with his hard work, have really prepared him for success.

“Despite only having made his debut in the middle of the previous season, he has already established himself as a vital member of the Dolphins team.”

In the meantime, Finefeuiaki, 20, has committed to the move from the North Queensland club for a three-year contract.
Reader stated, “The Dolphins have consistently stated that we will take our time to assemble the team and grow stronger with the right players and that recruitment is not just about year one.”

“Kuli is yet another illustration of a young person from southeast Queensland who gets to play NRL close to his friends and family when he returns home.”

Jett Cleary, a young player who was born in New Zealand, has signed a three-year contract with the Warriors, the team has confirmed.

The 19-year-old is the son of Ivan, the current coach of Penrith who previously led the Warriors, and the brother of Panthers star Nathan.

Jett Cleary has been through the Panthers system and has recently been a member of the team’s SG Ball and Harold Matthews teams.
A year before his father was appointed head coach of New Zealand, the rising star was born in Auckland in 2005.

Now, Warriors CEO Cameron George expressed his excitement about the Cleary name being associated with the team once more.

He released a statement saying, “It’s an exciting time for us to be able to bring a player of Jett’s quality into our pathways system starting next season.”

“Ivan’s tenure with us created the strongest ties between the Cleary family and our club, so signing Jett and welcoming the Cleary name back to our fold is a unique thrill.”

“Once again, we sincerely appreciate Penrith and Ivan’s cooperation in making this possible.”

Warriors general manager hiring, development, and paths George’s remarks were repeated by Andrew McFadden.

He declared, “Jett has a bright future ahead of him and we’re thrilled to give him the opportunity to grow in our system.”

Jett has the advantage of having close family ties to both the club and Auckland, despite the fact that he was still a young boy when he returned to Australia from New Zealand.

“Having come through Penrith’s fantastic pathways, he brings with him a wonderful pedigree and a great understanding of the game.”
The Cowboys have revealed that gun back rower Heilum Luki has signed a deal that will keep him in Townsville through the 2029 season’s conclusion.

Luki signed a new five-year contract after advancing through the junior ranks in North Queensland’s

Since making his debut in 2021, he has established himself as Jeremiah Nanai’s backup in the back row for the Cowboys.

Despite Luki’s three seasons of injury problems, Michael Luck, the general manager of football for North Queensland, was pleased to keep the budding talent.

In a club statement, Luck stated, “We are happy and proud to be able to confirm Heilum’s re-signing to a long-term extension.”

“We are thrilled about Heilum and Tom Dearden, two North Queensland products, as they are two of our longest-serving players.”

Heilum graduated from our Cairns Academy. In his short career, he has faced many challenges, but he has always bounced back, stronger than before.

We think he hasn’t even begun to reach his full potential, and we’re excited to watch him develop into the player and leader we know he will be while wearing a Cowboys jersey.

“He is the perfect example of everything we hold dear as a team—he puts in a lot of effort in the gym, is ready for challenging situations on the field, and is among the best backrow players in the league.”

Karl Lawton, who signed a multi-year contract with the North Queensland Cowboys from the Manly Sea Eagles, increased the depth of their utility unit.

The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys announced in a statement that utility Karl Lawton has agreed to a two-year contract with them for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

Over the course of nine seasons, the 28-year-old has made appearances in 87 NRL games for the Titans, Warriors, and Sea Eagles.
