As far as the transfers are concerned, the Old Trafford club remain heavily linked with Rasmus Hojlund and have submitted a bid to hire him.

According to a story covered by Corriere dello Sport today (press image provided below), Man Utd have tabled an offer worth £42.9million (50 million euros) to lure the 20-year-old striker.

However, they will have to raise the bid because Atalanta are ready to sell the young goal scorer for a fee of £60million (70 million euros).

So, Man Utd have to raise their offer by £17.1million to seal the signing of the Danish international from the Bergamo club.

The Italian media outlet have mentioned that having defined the terms to lure El Bilal Toure from Almeria, the Serie A side are preparing to receive a ‘maxi offer’ from Man Utd to finally sell Hojlund.

CdS claim that the 20-time English champions are in consistent contact with Atalanta as they look to get the deal over the line.

In your view, should Man Utd raise the bid by £17.1million and offer £60million to seal the signing?
