Everton attacker Dele Alli is unlikely to return anytime soon, according to an injury expert.
Dr. Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has joined us as an exclusive columnist. He’ll be sharing his thoughts on Everton’s injury situation every week…

According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, Everton forward Dele Alli will not return to action immediately following the international break due to a rehabilitation development.

The England player made news earlier this summer when he spoke with Gary Neville about his recuperation and return to first-team football.

He has been out with a knee injury, and the setback means he will be sidelined for several weeks.

Brar, a doctor of physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Goodison News exclusively, “He’s faced a setback in his rehab, so that’s going to keep him out for more weeks than expected.”

“It’s difficult to say what caused it, but you never know how rehab will go until you actually go through it.”Different players react differently depending on a variety of criteria.

“At that point, it’s difficult to say how much this has delayed his return timeline, but there will be some delay.”

Alli struggled on loan last season and appears to be fighting for a spot in Sean Dyche’s squad this season.

So far, the management appears to be rooting for the 27-year-old and has delivered encouraging comments in the press.

It remains to be seen which Alli the Toffees will get when he returns, as the gifted attacking midfielder is capable of wreaking havoc on even the greatest opposing defenses on his day.

In other Everton news, a TNT Sports pundit ripped a veteran Toffees player to shreds following what he did against Sheffield United.
