West Ham United have been linked with a transfer for Victor Boniface of the Bundesliga.
According to TeamTalk, the London club is keeping an eye on the 22-year-old attacker and could make a move for him in the coming months.

West Ham have done well to upgrade their team since Declan Rice’s departure. They have strengthened their midfield and boosted their offense with the addition of Mohammed Kudus. However, they remain without a regular goalscorer, and the addition of Boniface could prove to be a sensible move.

The 22-year-old striker has proven himself in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen and he has 11 goals and six assists in 15 matches across all competitions. Apparently, scouts from a number of european clubs are keeping tabs on him and West Ham should look to move quickly if they want to secure his services.

The Hammers are competing in the UEFA Europa League and the opportunity to play for them could be an attractive proposition for the striker. A move to the Premier League can be hard to turn down for most players.

Meanwhile, West Ham won the UEFA Europa Conference League last season and will want to compete in Europe every season going forward. In order for that to happen, they will need to enhance their roster and sign the appropriate players. Boniface would be a good long-term investment for them, and West Ham have the financial resources to make it happen.

The 22-year-old has the potential to develop into a reliable Premier League striker with the right guidance and a move to West Ham would be an exciting step in his career.

West Ham have done quite well in the European competition this season but their form in the Premier League has been quite mediocre. Manager David Moyes is under a lot of pressure to turn things around and signing the 22-year-old striker in January could help him turn West Ham’s season around.
