West Ham United play host to Nottingham Forest at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

The West Ham vs Nottingham Forest Premier League clash is an absolute must win for David Moyes and his players.

The Hammers have been in woeful form recently, having taken just four points from our last seven Premier League games, and Moyes is said to be under real pressure in his role at the London Stadium.

West Ham have won a couple of games during that period, against Freiburg in the Europa League back in October, Arsenal at the start of this month in the Carabao Cup and then Olympiacos in Europe last night.

Now it’s time for the Hammers to get back on a winning run in the league, and it seems as though we’ll have a good chance to do just that against Forest…

Latest Nottingham Forest news as Steve Cooper’s Reds prepare for Premier League clash with West Ham United

Nottingham Forest’s injury situation appears to be easing as they prepare to face West Ham United on Sunday.

The Reds have had a number of players sidelined in recent weeks and have seen their attacking options hit particularly hard. But head coach Steve Cooper says training has been almost at full strength ahead of his team’s trip to the capital.

Midfielder Danilo made his comeback from a hamstring issue in last weekend’s victory over Aston Villa. That game at the City Ground also saw striker Taiwo Awoniyi make his first start since recovering from a groin problem.

Chris Wood (hamstring), Divock Origi (hip), Gonzalo Montiel (calf) and Felipe (knee) have been absent of late, but Cooper has suggested they are making positive strides. The only player not involved in today’s training session was winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has been working his way back from a hamstring injury.

“We haven’t got any fresh injuries. We’ve got a couple of lads who have returned back to training,” Cooper said.

“We haven’t had the best of times with injuries over the past month or so, but some guys have returned to training. Not everyone will be ready for the weekend, but as it stands the only guy who didn’t train today was Callum Hudson-Odoi.

“It means some boys are back in and may be available for some minutes at the weekend. It might be too soon for some others; we will cross that bridge tomorrow and see where we are. But nothing on the negative from last week’s game.”
